Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Updated: Nov 4

I absolutely adore having oats for breakfast! They are a nutritious choice, packed with antioxidants, high in fiber, and incredibly filling!

One of the things I appreciate most about this breakfast option is the versatility it offers in terms of toppings. You can customize it with your favorite fruits, seeds, nuts, and sweeteners like ripe banana, apple, or honey.

Servings: 2

Prep time: 5 min

Cook time: 10 min

Total time: 15 min

What you need:

- 200g rolled oats

- 500ml almond milk (milk of choice)

- 1-2 tsp cinnamon

- 1 tbsp honey *

- 1 tbsp peanut butter

- 1 apple, peeled, cored and chopped

- 1 banana, sliced

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- flaked almonds *

What you do:

1. You just need to warm up the milk (milk of your choice), add the oats and rest of the ingredients and stir to combine for 5-7 minutes, at medium-low heat, or until all the milk has been absorbed.

2. Portion the oats in 2 bowls and top with a slice of an apple, some flaked almonds and a little bit of cinnamon and serve!
