Who is responsible
DMT Nutrition Limited is the controller for personal information used to operate this website, manage subscriptions and respond to customers. Our contact and registered-office details appear above. This notice covers the website and communications described here; future app features that collect additional information will have appropriate notices before collection.
Information and sources
We receive your email address, any name or message you provide, the newsletter or resource requested, subscription status and relevant consent records. We obtain technical information from website requests, including IP address, browser/device information and security or error records. If you allow analytics, we collect permitted visits and interaction events and campaign/source information associated with a subscription. Information comes from you, your interactions and providers operating these services. If you purchase through a connected checkout, relevant contact, billing, product, payment-status and order-reference information is used to manage your order. Payment credentials are handled by the payment provider.
Purposes and lawful bases
Consent: newsletter recipes, nutrition tips and product offers, and optional website analytics and associated campaign measurement. Contract: handling an order, digital delivery and purchase-related support. Legitimate interests: answering enquiries, fulfilling a specific resource request, maintaining secure services, preventing abuse, handling legal claims and retaining minimal records to respect your choices. We consider these interests against your rights and reasonable expectations. Legal obligation: keeping legally required transaction records and responding to applicable legal requirements. Required details are identified in the relevant form; without an email address we cannot manage an email subscription or send a requested resource. Cookie consent is separate from email consent.
Newsletter subscriptions and free guides
Our subscription offer includes DMT Nutrition emails and, where stated, a free guide. Before submitting, you are told that subscribing means receiving recipes, nutrition tips and occasional product offers from DMT Nutrition Limited. You can unsubscribe at any time through the email link or by contacting us. App-waitlist forms describe the newsletter and app updates included. We do not treat mere browsing, cookie acceptance or a purchase as newsletter consent. Unsubscribing does not remove your personal copy of a guide or your rights to a purchased product. We may still send necessary order or service messages. We retain a minimal suppression record to avoid subscribing you again accidentally.
Your right to object to marketing
You can object to direct marketing at any time, including related profiling. We may organise subscribers by requested resource or interests to make emails relevant. This is not a medical diagnosis. We do not use this website’s subscription routing to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Service providers
MailerLite processes our email subscriptions, resource delivery, preferences and campaign administration. Vercel hosts the website and processes operational request information. Google provides optional Analytics and externally requested font services; image providers receive technical requests for hosted images. Stripe is our intended payment provider for digital purchases and may act as an independent controller for payment security and regulatory purposes when you use its checkout. Business email services process correspondence; professional advisers and authorities receive information where necessary. Provider notices explain their own processing. We do not sell customer mailing lists. Necessary information may be disclosed for a genuine business transfer subject to lawful safeguards.
International processing
Providers may process information outside the UK, including in Europe and the United States. Applicable UK adequacy arrangements or appropriate contractual safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum, are required where relevant to restricted transfers. Contact us to ask which provider arrangements apply to your information and for copies of applicable safeguards, with confidential details redacted where appropriate.
Retention
We retain subscription profiles while needed for the subscription and review information that is no longer relevant. Following withdrawal, we distinguish the minimal suppression/consent evidence needed to respect and demonstrate your choice from information no longer needed for marketing. Enquiries are kept for their resolution and any necessary follow-up. Order records are retained for applicable accounting duties and claims periods. Technical records are kept according to the operational or incident-investigation purpose and provider retention settings. Cookie preferences expire after 180 days. Retention of analytics information is separate from cookie expiry. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, subject to legal obligations, disputes and restricted backup cycles. Ask us for the period relevant to a particular record.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email the address above. We may request proportionate identity verification. We normally respond to rights requests within one month; if a lawful extension or clarification affects the timetable, we explain it. We do not normally charge a fee.
Complaints
Email us with “Privacy complaint” in the subject or write to our registered office. We acknowledge privacy complaints within 30 days, investigate without undue delay and explain the outcome. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or call 0303 123 1113. These contact routes are also available to overseas users; any additional mandatory local rights remain applicable.
Health information, accounts and children
You do not need to provide health information to subscribe. Please do not put medical records into newsletter forms. The macro calculator is intended to calculate in your browser; its inputs are not submitted by the subscription integration. Our website is intended for adults. Contact us if a child has provided information so we can assess and address it. App-waitlist registration is not creation of an app account. Before launching account or health-tracking features, we will explain the additional information, providers, purposes, retention and permissions relevant to those features.
Security and updates
We use measures appropriate to the information and risks, including access restrictions and secure service providers. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We update this notice as practices change and provide additional notice or obtain new consent where required. A policy update alone does not authorise new marketing or tracking.
