Keep it juicy
Cook the chicken or turkey until just done, then let it rest briefly before slicing so the juices stay in the meat.
Enjoy all the flavors of a classic burger in a wholesome, deconstructed bowl. This recipe features a savory chicken or turkey patty, crispy sweet potatoes, fresh greens, and a creamy mashed avocado dressing. A perfect balanced meal for any time of day.

Step by step
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a bowl, mix the minced chicken/turkey, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, oregano, onion, and garlic powder until well combined. Shape into a round patty and place on a lined baking tray. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through.
Meanwhile, cut the sweet potatoes into small pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook in an air fryer at 200°C (390°F) for 15-20 minutes, or until crispy.
Assemble your salad in a bowl: add spinach, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and feta.
Place the chicken patty and air-fried sweet potatoes on a plate, alongside the salad. Add mashed avocado, drizzle with lemon juice and olive oil, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Useful, not complicated
Small changes that make this recipe easier to fit into real life.
Cook the chicken or turkey until just done, then let it rest briefly before slicing so the juices stay in the meat.
Store the dressing separately and add it just before eating so the vegetables stay crisp and the meal keeps well.
Cool leftovers promptly and refrigerate in a sealed container; add a splash of water when reheating to bring the texture back.
